Out on patio at 5:13 am. Small amount light in east. Can see a little bit of color. Pale orange and or yellow. Only bird song was a brief NOCA.
5:15 am can hear a distant EAWP sing a normal pattern.
5:16 am nearby inbu sang once. Amro distant.
Scattered stratocumulus clouds.
5:17 am another EAWP singing in distant in diff direction and it's singing fast nesting morning sing with the who did it part.
5:19 am both distant faint EAWP sing the fast song with the who did it part. It must be a dawn nesting song version.
Close NOCA singing at 5:20. Inbu singing more often.
5:21 am NOCA about 30 feet away sings. Can see faint colors of orange yellow green and blue. Hilly in east prevents seeing low.
5:15 am would have been a good time to walk up to sheep pasture hilltop. Chairs exist at the spot. Prob to watch sunrise behind distant hill.
5:23 am another amro singing. Closer. Inbu steady singer. Also NOCA down hill slope singing.
5:24 woth to my right or south along purple trail started singing. Can hear sheep calling.
5:25 am sky light overhead transitioning from dark blue to light blue. A bit more orange ish in east along ridge our horizon.
A trig cricket I think that is what it is sings next to our patio. It sang last night.
5:28 eabl warbling. Songs inc:
Inbu
2 or 3 NOCA maybe more
Amro
Woth
Too much up close song esp NOCA song has drowned out the distant EAWP song.
Mild morning. A little humid. But comfy. Not chilly.
Quite "noisy" with birdsong.
5:32 am sosp sang.
5:37 can see fog tucked into valley below.
5:40 back out on patio. A few min ago went inside to wake deb. I got dressed and ready. We will walk up to hill top.
5;40 am cont. Howr singing. Others still singing. Can't hear pee wees. No rbgr. Prob all done nesting. Brighter sky. Same colors just more from distant ridge to behind.
