the trogs began detonating bombs in our neighborhood before 12:30 p.m. Later than usual. bombs have occasionally exploded throughout the afternoon. it's now about 6:00 p.m. edt.

barney and i will take a long ride this evening to get away from it all. the dog is terrified, of course.

it's not a one day thing. the fireworks have occasionally gone off for weeks. and a week ago, the fireworks activity late at night, including around 1:00 a.m., increased dramatically.

it's unbelievably bad. been this way for many years in toledo.
